Lazy Morning
We woke up to find that we’d lost our fourth table at breakfast.
The breakfast seemed to get a little worse each day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, but no shower today. We went to breakfast, then just strolled around the hotel until 11:30. After that, we left to go to the Lucky Plaza. So we left and decided to walk.
Courts
We then reached courts and I was blown away by everything from new gaming consoles to old ones and even more. They had keyboards and even the driving simulator. I found it tricky to get used to at first, but I got the hang of it in no time. The prices were also not that competitive, in my opinion. They were standard, even with lower prices.
The Icecrem Museum
We’d heard from some people that its a pretty okay okay place, its not like something you MUST GO. People usually go there to post on Instagram and not much else. Through that egret range, I don’t think I’ve seen it all. It’s got some classics and a lot of cooler flavours and lots of different types of ice cream. I enjoyed it overall. It was a fun place to take photos, and they had great ice cream, including raspberry sorbet with sprinkles.
They also had a jukebox with all the best songs from the 2000s and before, so that was great fun throughout. They had fun activities, and I would love to go with my younger cousins.
Going to River Wonders
We left the museum of ice cream and went to the metro station in Ion Road. We finally got to the museum, but the quick entry to the MRT cut our exploration of the river wonders short. I’ve realised that River Wonders is good, but it’s not for everyone.
It’s not really for the average person. I mean, it’s good, but it’s just too much. The animals are interesting, but I think there’s enough there without a guide. Maybe if you had younger cousins or siblings with you, or a more knowledgeable guide, it would be better.
An overall takeaway you can get is that the zoo is a lot to take in its not always that interesitng if you must go then consider dropping river wonders they have pandas i guess so thats cool but other thans the Bird Paradise and the Zoo are the best ones.
Night Safari has a great show and a great tram ride but its not something that you have to see. So 1. SIngapore Zoo, 2. Bird Paradise these two are the best Mandai parks. I wouldnt bother taking the other two. Again this is true only if you have a logn trip and ou dont like walking for that long everyday because we were really tired after every day, and you have a guide or some younger sibling who is really realy enthusasitc about animals haha.
Again the best one is Bird Paradise, 10/10 would reccomend.
Night Safari
THe Night Safari was CROWDED. We tried to find a place to sit and eat food but we couldnt do that either. THere were just so many people and so many people sitting eating before the night safari started whihc was very surprising becayuse we wrere there already an hour early. So many Indians there so that was both good nd bad to see lmao.
The night safari was good, but the family in front of us kept talking, which kind of ruined it for us. We didn’t really explore much of it, we just went on the train ride and the show. The show was great, don’t get me wrong. But again this was a really small park and we didnt get to knwo much it was in the dark and I prefer visitng these parks and seeing these animals in the light and spedning time reading and stuff not just movbing past them.
Overall great day a mix of fun, eating, and learning.
