The Metro!

This is the first time we have used the metro, for some reason the bus seemed sufficient. But we had a direct metro from Sommnet, which is a 6 minute walk from our hotel. Finding the metro station was confusing, we accidentally crossed the road. But inside the station it was a different ball game. It was posh and the system was so automated. It was very convincing. Honestly, the best system there is.

Reaching Mandai

We arrived at the Mandai shuttle station and there was a bus waiting for us. We got on the bus for $3 and it took us to Singapore Zoo. The bus system was amazing, they had a free service from inside the park.

Singapore Zoo

The zoo is quite different this time around. I’ll be sharing photos from the trip, but for now, I’ll just say that the shows are amazing, the restaurants are good, and the butterfly showcase is incredible. The zoo was huge there was tons of walking so I would 100% reccomend the Tram Srervice and not just walk around the thing.

It takes approximately 5 hours to actually appreciate everything at the zoo so please take out time and go through it all if you want to that is.

Dont half ass it id say. Either you are all in or you arent.

Oh Meng

Ayush got really hungry and we found that OH meng was the closest restaurant to us in the zoo and so we deided to eat here. There was a lot of local food here like dumpling soup and Chicken Xhang noodles both of them were pretty much okay. We were happy with the food because we actually got to try something authentic here.;

Bird Paradise

THere was a waterfall at the start of it that was really cool. I was really happy witht hat. THen when we went inside the firs tthign was the penguine exibition. That was really good, it was all indoor so no heat and plus the penguines were so cute and the whole exibitionw as really well made it was really an experience. The rest were divided into different sections. They overall held up their theme and the parrto sectionw as allso really nice. I loved that section and the parrots even cam up really close to me.

I thought the show in Bird Paradise was better than the other show at the Zoo. It was really good. All the volunteers were enthusiastic.

Overall the experience we had here was much better and I would totally reccomend this to anyone coming to Singapore. Even if you dont check out the rest of what mandai has. Do check out the Bird Paradise.

Back at the Metro Station
